those bloody fools can't tell the difference between a political party from a Government.

ever noticed how some of the newscasters would even address the PAP candidates as PM and/or MPs during the rally periods?

political apathy is a manifestation, the root cause has to be addressed.

Some of these "fools" are not really that stupid. They vote for those who benefit their self interests. There are others who are ignorant or not as clever as the "mastermind". They are not really that stupid, just not as clever.
The only way to show a government that they are out of touch is to vote a few of their members out, and then explain afterwards. Otherwise they will never realize that they are out of touch.

No, there will never be an equal playing field.
In fact, some people would think that they are stupid if they ever created an equal playing field.
The only way to make the lives of ordinary Singaporeans better is to vote some of these elites out of parliament and have a number of opposition MPs hammering at all the policies that are not beneficial to the ordinary Singaporean. This will create an atmospgere whereby the government will start working for the people and the opposition will also keep speaking up for the people.
In my opinion, if the opposition were to take over the government, I don't think the lives of ordinary Singaporeans would be much better than now, UNLESS there is similarly a bunch of pap mps hammering at THEIR policies.

then the oppositions have to start on the ground work soon, not easy to get the common folks to get off the fence. need to swing more votes over to the opposition side.
