Light-spilling is controlled with a snoot, not with a reflector.Without a reflector you'll get light spill all over the place and it will be impossible to get the same deep shadows.

Camera companies are too greedy and liken their cameras to mobile phones, expecting people to upgrade whenever there's a newer model.exactly right! looks like all of us have failed. thanks to smartphones, I've never bought a camera since. Olympus should've come out with an android phone.
