But that 'joker' has been around for sometime. Blame the PAP, they chop and change and gerrymander the constituencies all the time. The opposition cant focus, and oppos contest in different places all the time. How to have a following like that?

Gerrymandering with GRC worked at first as it newly taken opposition by surprise 20 years ago, but not anymore. Look the case in point for WP. Just concentrate groundworks thinking in terms of region, not constituency. When you focus on a region, however they redraw or rename it doesn't matter anymore, you'd have your groundworks there and you'd contest there. For example, the max they could have gone in gerrymandering was to split Aljunied GRC into two just like what they did to the old Chengsan. Then what? They'll risk losing two GRCs at one go and they know that. That's why they dare not do it. What else can they do? Draw the Chengsan-Aljunied area as a non-Parliamentary GRC requiring no election?

Yes you are right, oppos need to concentrate on region, the problem is we have too many oppo parties, and the PAP knows it. They will redraw the constituencies and the oppos will fight amongst themselves doing the work for PAP. We need to cut down those useless ones or get strategic alliances. For example, Bishan-Toa Payoh, SPP and RP did a joint walk about there. but now we have WP gunning for East COast, NSP gunning for Tampines and Marine Parade, and RP concentrating on the west. RP in its current form have no hope and its giving PAP a free ride. NSP is a joke now and to think about it, I am pissed off with GMS. he gave MBT a free ride.

The best is SPP, WP and NSP form a strategic alliance, and all members have to know they are there to work for Singaporeans and not themselves. SDP has to tone down its social democratic liberal bull shit which is now causing Western Countries alot of problems. Useless Oppo members should just quit like GMS etc or just be ordinary members and candidates. CSJ should resign and just be an ordinary member, and be a helper. We need to unite and not be fighting for scaps. LTK has proven himself to be a good and honest leader, however the environment is against him. Oppos can unite and make it easier to take on PAP. not make things worse
