From what I do know, the credit crunch started when Greenspan supported the massive Bush tax cuts to be passed in 2001/02, and then persuaded the Bush administration to de-regulate the mortgage industry, and to use these mortgages to be chopped up and be re-packgaged as securities.
And it just exploded August 2007- and really declined in September 2008, when Lehman collapsed. All these happened under Bush's watch.
I certainly do know how the American system works, and I have read enough American political magazines online to realise that. To blame job losses that were 'created' because of Bush policies on Obama is as unfair as you can get.
You're just finding m&d to throw at Obama- a black man- just hoping one will stick. I feel sad for you when you do that. In the end though, the election of President Obama is just the beginning of our answer. Let's wait if he becomes a transformative leader like FDR, or Reagan.
