68yrs old spore uncle give illegal loans to Filipino maids

This Lawrence Yeo was a terrible boss. He was nasty to all his subordinates. For a short while he was the top honcho in Maybank Singapore, he employed a lot of his church members.

Knew LY many years ago when he was the AGM of Maybank, S'pore. At that time ; high pay, good perks, stayed in landed property and chauffeur-driven. He must have fallen on hard times but his children have all grown up so just wonder where his savings have gone to?

hahaha....he is the father of jocelyn yeo.

seem like another media blackout on this. almost no reports on this, and carry no further story on jocelyn yeo. She is a youth PAP right ? NMP ?

cant imagine if this is related to any opp party member's father :D

that time tan lead shake prc wife kill his brother and another, main stream media reported as if he is the murderer.

besides high interests, you can charge 'admin fees', late payment charges, cut head etc.......a typical legal loanshark set-up can break even within a few months. That's how profitable it is.....best of all its legal and exploiting the poor and those in need.

That's 100% correct. All sorts of fees can be imposed. Like I said many times, what the govt can't handle, they legalise it. Now, can collect taxes too.

Chickens from China used to FL in Geylang. They are now legal workers in our Geylang fuck shops. Better late than never.

In other words a typical Spore boss:)

In other words a typical Spore boss:)

A typical Spore boss would therefore be all of the following:

1.surround himself with yesmen/women; 2. engage smart people but not smart enough to threaten his own position;3. gets all the credit for himself and be quick to condemn others; 4.even quicker to find a scapegoat; 5. always bear grudges 6. ready to fix/punish those who did not do right by him 7. likes to pull rank and boss people around; 8. cannot accept criticism; 9. afraid of their own shadows and feeling insecure; 10.thinks very highly of himself. The list is not exhaustive.

Apologies. I am little confused. Typical boss or typical MIW?

Not only the father is in trouble, his daughter is going to make baby for Angmo instead of making Singapore babies................................

He made the mistake of thinking he could retire in Spore

If he'd chosen to retire outside of Spore he'd probably be relaxing with Sammy at some fishing hole, playing golf,....:)

i agree with what you say. I also plan to run to JB.

There are poor labor laws in Spore. If you have a problem with your boss the only thing you can do is walk away.

Unlike in Canada, Aust you don't have any other recourse

Heard this old uncle was "asked to leave" when he was head of ops at First Chicago. He then went on to join UOB and his own achievement there worthy
of mention was to be blasted by the then GM, a Mr Tseng (who happens of be Wee Cho Yaw's brother in law) when the old uncle interrupted him in the midst of a meeting and addressed him by his first name instead of Mr Tseng.

But how many SINgapore workers these days bother about this? In the past we had very hard working union officials many uncredited, unheralded fought for the rights of the workers with managment ( not fists, of course). But all these are yesteryears & not that far back, now all the union officials dance to the tune to a piped piper of ants till you C. They are too well fed, do not have the gumption or guts to stand up for the rights of the workers the represent. Not only tha, the union members card is for leisure & entertainment, whereas in the past, they stand for your rights. Nowadays it stand for shopping at farceprice & ants till you C related business.

You have a problem, resign & look for another job, make sure that you look after your own rights...:p

This chap has better dress sense than GMS and his NSP chaps. Look at LY's shirt and tailored pants. He looks smart.

lianbeng says he reminded us about 谢明明's father that laocheeko.:D
