Serves you right for using a shitty Tiong phone, which are expected to be 'disposable' since they have terrible resale value.

By the way, fyi:

Tiong phone makers Xiaomi first introduced the Poco brand to India, and Oppo first introduced the Realme brand to India. Both companies knew cheapskate CECA land has a high demand for cheap Android phones.

Imuho no electronic gadgets is worth the leepair once warranty is over KNN for electronic appliance even with warranty none is worth the trouble if is below $200 KNN eg if you purchased a fan for $100 most store will provide a 7 days faulty 1 to 1 exchange policy if suay break down on 8th day you should just throw it away KNN

Nowadays I don’t even bother to repair tech gadgets. It’s probably already outdated by the time it’s spoilt. Repair vs get new cost is almost the same.

Things that may make sense to repair is like luggage, maybe the wheels rubber came off. Or maybe an expensive briefcase where the handle part has worn off.

Like it or not, Iphone lasts forever. I’m on my IPhone X 5th year now but still have 2 working iPhone 6.

That cock probably has a lot of artistic photos and videos on his phone and he cannot or dunno how to transfer out.

change battery is $70 but must change motherboard $530 too. Xiaomi SG is trolling him.

We all know screen is the most expensive. If screen no problem and is not replaced, how can the repair fee be higher than phone cost? Lol

Most of the time, the repair shop will suggest that you buy a new one due to high repair cost. If you insist, he will have to quote you the price The decision is ultimately yours. Quotation is not a bill, so it is unfair to crticise the shop unless he told you $50 and then bill you $640.

Maybe your contractor should charge u $1 million to fix defects in your $500k flat. Like u said, quotation is not a bill.

Fuck you la. Talking cock!

Ever got quoted something to that extent by Samsung a decade back after a 1 year old Note2 broke down… $300/$400 thereabout to replace motherboard. It was pretty clear the brands have no interest to get you repair your phone.

That’s why I buy iPhones and iPads from Apple. They have a standardize repair fee. Screen is one fee, battery replacement is another and so on. Not like the other cheebye brands!

It only happens in the PAP ministries because the money belongs to taxpayers. Fixing a simple Garbage Chute for a Museum cost $500K.

You can always move on to the next reasonable contractor. There are thousands of them in Singapore. Why stick to just one quotation is beyond any logic. Unless you belong to 61% daft sinkies who felt they have no other option.
