Does anyone still likes the status quo of Temasek remaining an investment company, or Temasek going back to its original role being the parent company of companies that are managing natural monopolies that only the government can manage due to scale of economies?

If you ask me, the latter is still much better than the current status quo. As I said, I'm not opposed on monopolies, specifically on natural ones such as utilities, public transportation, and for landlines for telephones. But for all others, its up in the air.
