Very poor argument. Only an idiot will pay $20 for a $9.40 fare. Obviously the passenger was misled or wrongly informed.

Taxis on standby for hotels were outlawed in the 1980s. Any such agreement requires the hotel to pay a retainer to the taxi driver for the convenience of hotel. Obviously taxi drivers are such blur fucks that they don't realise that hotel has to pay or they are actually collecting the money from both sides.

This taxi driver is also so an idiot fighting the case.

If the passenger is willing, I dun find anything wrong with it. In the case mentioned above, there was already this pre-agreement.

Alot of taxi drivers easily ear $3-5k per month. I always hear cab drivers boasting of this. In this case, everyone shud be cab drivers - the only profession where foreign trash cannot apply for.

This statement not true anymore....... some taxis are given to ah tiongs to drive ( the companies claim these ah tiongs are here on attachemnt cum training from the overseas subsidiaries).
