That is why Covid is a big disappointment. Initially the figures looked promising with a case fatality rate of 5% to 7% which would hundreds of millions of deaths and a measurable reduction in the earth's population.

However so far it has only killed 2.2 million out of 7.8 billion or 0.028%.

Even if the final death toll is double that figure it still means only a 0.06% reduction of humans in an already grossly overcrowded planet.

Depends on the degree of burn. Usually 50% chance if 80% burns...
