Something must be done.

MPs must speak out......

Deaths are an inevitable part of military training. The utmost care is taken to keep our soldiers safe and to put things in perspective, you should be made aware that commuting to work and back actually poses a higher risk.

Every country needs a well trained defense force in order protect the vulnerable members of society from foreign aggression. This includes women, children, the old, the sick and the foreigners who work and live on the Island.

that will bring the number to six death for the year and third for the month of august.

You can be a FT somewhere else before 18 and don't do NS right?

I went through NS! I've seen death straight in the face. It's not pleasant but defending the country is one of the most important duties of a citizen and it has to be done.

I went through NS during and era when training was a lot more realistic and a lot more dangerous. An ivory tower would have been nicer than having live rounds whistling over my head but we realised the importance of realism when it came to exercises.

It's not the safer environment that is worrying as to why NS serfs are dying.

It's the LACK OF WILL and MOTIVATION to serve, as it only serves to protect the FT's right to enjoy their lives ON THE NS serf home soil, that is making the serfs make silly mistakes that KILL them! LOL

Without his dedication, hundreds of thousands of NS men would have died horrific deaths from fatal tropical diseases. He has contributed more to the SAF than all of us put together.

Tragic losses of NS lives, esp in view of how the pap is giving SG away for free to foreigners. It wld be more worthwhile had the pap treat true blue, native SG sons better

I would gladly agree with you or else how would I be able to keep upping my rentals and they are still going North at a increasing rate with a high demand, right now?

That true. But 1 very important citeria must be taken into consideration :

1) It must be done on voluntarily basis for the soldier. If not,can we sue our govt for endangering our life ?
