4 men charged over alleged rioting at Raffles Link

SINGAPORE – Four men, aged between 23 and 31, were charged on June 15 for their suspected involvement in a case of rioting at Raffles Link.
Muhammad Azroy Jasni, 27, Mohamad Azhar Mohamad Bahagia, 23, Muhammad Shafiq Rosli, 31, and Mohammad Suhaimi Sulaiman, 30, were charged for being part of an unlawful assembly that had a common object of hurting six unknown Malay males.
The men were charged under Section 147 of the Penal Code. If found guilty, they could each face up to seven years in jail and caning.
