49 new cases. New Singpost Cluster!

Singapore is doing very well. No problem. Dont worry.

Perhaps it's a good time to have my mail delivered by premium postal services instead.

A study published earlier this month in the New England Journal of Medicine found that the COVID-19 virus can live on surfaces like cardboard for up to 24 hours, and can live up to 72 hours on plastic and stainless steel. But the chances of contracting the novel coronavirus from a package are low, according to the CDC.

So, it's low risk, but of you are damn "heng", still can get it via your mails in your letterbox :D

Still don't want to lockdown.

The fact that there is a linear rather than an exponential growth in the number of cases shows that the PAP has this bug well under control.

Singapore is extremely lucky to have such a competent government in charge. If you compare the PAP gold standard vs the fiasco that is occurring in many other countries you should all count your blessings that the country can still function despite the fact that the world is in the midst of a pandemic.

In the last two weeks, the growth in cases has been exponential. This is because the govt has been pussyfooting. All people returning to Singapore from abroad should have been placed in quarantine immediately. This should have been implemented long ago.

Show me a graph that indicates an exponential increase.

My data relies on observing graphs of the actual rise in the number of confirmed cases. While these figures are probably not very accurate because of limitations in the scope of testing it still shows obvious trends and as far as the stats show Singapore is managing covid-19 excellently without having to resort to a lockdown.

Go to https://www.businessinsider.com.au/...sing-country-by-country-2020-3?op=1&r=US&IR=T and you can choose various countries and compare the stats.

Remember to turn off "logarithmic scale for y axis" in order to see the exponential growth for other countries vs the linear growth for Singapore.

Also turn on "Adjusted for population".

I am full of admiration for the PAP. I always knew that they were the best and their handling of this pandemic confirms it beyond all doubt.

The govt has been too lax about people coming in and importing the WuFlu into Singapore.

That has sparked off multiple local clusters.

They should have shut down the fitness first gym earlier.

I went to SingPost centre on Wed 25th March for a workout a Fitness first gym.

It was a two hour workout comprising one hour at the cardio machines followed by a grueling one hour of eye exercises (looking at chiobus).

Almost wanted to eat at the food court but decided against it

This is indeed a classic example of "imported" cases...apparently they can come in parcels too.

Singapore is a trading nation. It relies on imports and exports to survive. Without imports the country is just a fishing village.

10th March -- 170 Singapore cases
19th March -- 340
27th March -- 730

Double every 9 days. Hence, exponential.

The cases are doubling because of PAP's mission of leaving no sinkie behind. We're still doing our best to fly sinkies back home instead of abandoning them to die in Italy, Spain or USA. A sinkie's best chance to survive covid-19 is in Singapore. Majulah PAP!
