It is good that the Judge wanted time to consider an appropriate sentence. Even within the Homosexual community, most will agree that Chee's behavior is abnormal. Chee considers himself as a woman, but NO woman would follow a man into the toilet, ogle at his private parts & even take pics. It is an outrage of modesty which is a crime.
The purpose of jail is not just to punish an offender, but to REHABILITATE him too, to return him back into mainstream society. However, a Judge does not make the law. Only elected legislators do. The Judge will interpret the laws, & the laws determine that an offender goes to serve time in jail. Such laws however, were meant for normal heterosexuals, & NOT for abnormal Humans such as Chee.
To send such abnormal Human to jail would be a sexual escapade holiday for him - 3 hot meals a day under shelter & ALL the ogling at communal baths & sexual intercourse in his shared bunk with others while inside jail at Taxpayers expense. Thus legislators too will have to consider appropriate sentences for punishment & rehabilitation.
At best, a spell within IMH in isolation would be needed, although a few weeks is unlikely to change his decades old Homosexual ideological obsessions. At least justice is seen to be served, rather than a sexual escapade holiday for him in normal incarceration which will not rehabilitate but, but only FURTHER his ideological obsessions.
A far better rehabilitation would be to place his full face photo & charge sheet upon the walls of toilets at MRT stations, to warn off others of such a character for public safety, & self rehabilitation for him & others like him to not perform such obscene acts upon innocent others.
