I last visited the Zoo in 1992 and the Night Safari in 1994. I couldn't remember the exact admission prices but I'm sure they weren't so exhorbitant then. Gosh, $32!?

Half Price, Singapore Surprise Promotion for Malaysians

Posted by: MJ on: 7 May 2007

Malaysians can look forward to a whopping 50% discount on admission fees to Singapore’s latest attractions like DHL Balloon, DUCKtours and the upgraded Singapore Zoo. Included are also popular attractions such as Sentosa, Cable Car and the Jurong BirdPark as well as the award winning Chinatown Heritage Centre.
Malaysians only need to produce their passports and valid embarkation cards for verification at participating attractions to pay for their entry tickets in Malaysian Ringgit (exact amount) or Singapore Dollar (a 50% discount off published rates will be given on the spot).
During this promotional period, Malaysians can also enjoy the free shuttle service from Johor Bahru to Singapore and attractive airfare deals from Singapore Airlines and Silkair.

PAP government will always want to make money on almost everything they do. Track record shows, my fren.

So if there were really popular support from Malaysians, you still think they will still get the 50% discount ? Clearly, shows there is no support from Malaysians isn't it?

I have never visited any tourist spots here. The last time I ever visited Singapore tourist spot is by taking cable car during SARs. Everyone stayed at home and I had good quiet and peaceful Singapore all by myself. With influx of foreigners now, don't expect me to commute frequently. SMRT doesn't deserve my money because local transport system is not efficient, overly packed, too uncomfortable and arrival time is not punctual.

Hahaha, discounts for malaysians? Why not for all? 32 dollars per person? That comes in easily a coupl of hundreds per family. Including food and drinks. Have not been to the zoo for a long long time. What to see? animals? What so big deal.

Paying $10 for a horror show in the movies is cheaper than seeing a paid employee pretending to be a ghost in the safari.

I don't think the angmohs come all the way here for something familiar like Halloween. Fail.
