ITE should open up a new tender and look for a new operator. Operator must have this certain track record where they have operated a big premise all by themselves and not sublet to other parties.

So many stalls will dilute all the tenants earnings.

1000 students divided by 39, each stall avg only 25 students. How to survive? Failed economics 101. Tender price is a factor but not main factor. Main factor must be able to operate the stalls at all times and have consistent quality. This is what some secondary schools have been doing all this while.

these are sociological facts ...of course not all like that lah....ITE students belong to a certain category of our population....just like those elites and their children in certain category of our education system..

institution,schools and malls get the highest tender....and the successful owner will then tender out the stalls ....as long as they can make money from the rentals....

in the end, food too expensive,people don't patronise....poor business,high rentals...gone case liao!!!

owner makes money....successful bidder makes money...the vendors and stall holders all gone kaput!!!....sayonara!!!!

The PS,DS and all super scales staff of Min of Education are earning millions a year.

Well, serves the stall holders right. They should not pay such exorbitant rental
and if they take the risk, they deserve to lose.

It will serve as a lesson and make others more cautious about bidding too high
in a tender.

BTW, how many students does this ITE have? And given the demographics of these
students, can they afford to pay a high price for their meals?
