17-year-old molester arrested

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 17-year-old youth suspected of several cases of outrage of modesty in Pasir Ris housing estate.
Police said in these cases, the youth allegedly used the same tactics.
He allegedly approached the unsuspecting female victims from behind, lifted up their dresses or skirts, pulled down their panties and then molested them.
The victims were aged between 17 and 35 years old.
Acting on reports made by the victims, police established the identity of the suspect and arrested him at about 9.30am on Saturday in Pasir Ris Street 21.
He will be charged in court on Monday with outrage of modesty.
A court order will be sought to remand the suspect for further investigations.
