SINGAPORE : The heavy rain on Thursday afternoon slowed down traffic as well as caused slight flooding around the East Coast Parkway expressway.

The situation improved after the rain subsided.

A Marina Bay Sands spokesperson said the flooding was "a result of a dip in the ECP, compounded by blocked drains along the expressway near Marina Bay Sands".

The spokesperson added that while Marina Bay Sands' buildings and construction site are not the cause of this flooding, the company's team on the construction site is assisting the Land Transport Authority team to clear the blockage and roads.

Fuck them to say it is the blockage. Few months ago, the same situation happened. Was it also blockage also?? Block the Lan Jiao LTA!

Should not called slight flooding. That editor really don't know technical.
Maybe should change to what the the water level/deep and how big is the total area with few area photo print in paper/news. People are not stupid nowdays.
