Highest trust level in govt
By Marissa Lee

PEOPLE in Singapore trust the Government here more than the residents of any other country trust their government, a new survey of 22 countries has found.

Trust in the Singapore Government was 84 per cent, according to the survey by US-based PR firm Edelman.

That is far higher than the global average of 49 per cent, which means fewer than one in two people worldwide trust their own government, on average.

Singapore also leads the field as the most trusted country for companies to locate their global headquarters, scoring a trust level of 89 per cent.

'The Singapore Government's successful track record in steering the country through global economic crises and pandemics has instilled unprecedented levels of trust,' said Mr Bob Grove, managing director of Edelman Southeast Asia.

The survey polled 200 people in Singapore and a total of 4,875 worldwide, including the United States, Britain, China and India.

When you survey a group of slaves that had been repressed for many years, they have the stockholm sydrome, if I get the spelling correct. That is they will love their oppressors.

Look at the numbers and tell me what story they tell. PAP's percentages would have fallen if the cronies of the MONGREL who bit his masters' hands LOUDHAILER chee soon juan had stayed away from the elections.

Who are the Chee cronies who stood for election?

The mortley team which contested Sembawang and obtained only 23%:

Chee Siok Chin
Christopher Neo Ting Wei
Francis Yong Chu Leong
Gerald Sng Choon Guan
Mohd Isa Abdul Aziz
Narayanasamy Gogelavany

His ex-comrade Ling How Doong did equally badly, also with only 23%. No other candidate whether PAP or opposition fared less than 30%.

One-on-one.

Shows how far down the MONGREL who bit his masters' hands LOUDHAILER chee soon juan brought the SDP which once boasted percentages >40% and three parliamentary seats (highest in independent Singapore). Also proves how having the wrong leadership can destroy Singapore.

So base on your premise, any other opposition party would have done better at the time?

think the polling number is too small to be accurate, Singapore and worldwide.

If a stranger starts asking me sensitive qsts I will lie & give the approved answers lah. This is what a climate of fear encourages

So these surveys are quite useless
