    Building maintenance overall in JB is quite substandard. Look at all the major shopping malls up keeping, their toilets' cleanliness, etc. all due to poor working attitude and supervision. Same story in most condos, worse with tenants not paying their fees regularly

    Not really. That's provided they stage concerts that interest Singaporeans and also provided they bother to get stuck on the Causeway for hours to and from JB. Concert usually starts about 8pm and going to JB between 5 to 8pm is absolute nightmare.

    The many vacant units will most probably remain vacant for a long time. The shopping mall here and the one in Country Garden, wonder which will open earlier, but looking at the current condition, retailer occupancy rate will be low and slow.
