Should I get a free ipod nano?

I got an ipod nano in 2005, ipod touch in 2008, and now have an ipad 2. Get an ipad 2.

The reason I want to get the Ipod Classic is, I have loads of music that the Ipod cannot accomodate including present itunes purchases plus future ones. If I ever get the Ipad2 ( which is tempting), would be for apps, games & mostly ebooks, not music & an iphone for apps & managing calls & whatever features it has.

You don't have to load all your music. 64G is a lot of music itself. The apps, games, ebooks is worth not carrying all your music.

Then go and get the ipad2, what's stopping you?

Are you a teenager? Just take anything that is given to you free. no need to ponder over it. Throw it away like the rest of us if you dont need it.

My music collection is rather large, not counting those I have on Music CD & Vinyls, though many can be bought from iTunes, but many iTunes do not have, for example Gilbert O Sullivan Songs, his recordings from his MAM label days. That is why I need the updated classic, which I am hoping for.:D

I read on the net that they are refurbished Ipod Nano & the one I mentioned, I realized that I bought the unit from Apple.com ages ago, that was why now I have received an email from them, I didn't buy from someone. I bought the other Nano from someone else. I am waiting for Apple to upgrade their Ipod Classic, I needed all the space a unit can offer, but I don't like the click wheel & my iTouch is aging & ran out of space. Furthermore, I couldn't update the IOS to 5.0 & can not take advantage of iCloud etc..

I'm still using an original Gen 1 iPod & would like to get a new iPod Classic but I want plenty of space, because I plan to store ALL my music in lossless format & hook it up to my HiFi system :)

Just got update today. My ipod nano on the way.

They received my ipod nano on Nov16th and only sending out on Dec 23rd. Looks like I'll only get it after xmas or next year then.

Read on the internet that the replacement is a 6th Gen Ipod. I have not sent in my ipod nano yet after I have received their email, after Christmas I do it.

I just checked the new serial number they say they would be sending me. Its a 6th gen nano. :) Here is keeping my fingers cross when it arrives.
