Thanks a lot, a saint i definitely am not. I can't hold a candle to most who are the real good ones. I just want to contribute in my own little way. Its hard at times, feeling rejected, betrayed or cast out alone in a stormy night even when you mean well. I believe in the innate good in people, every one deserves a chance.

No matter how bad a person is, he may be a fillial son or a doting father just like how there are no absolutely perfect people around. The world deserves a chance
though but most people fear doing the right or the good thing by being laughed at.

I am either too stupid or too stubborn to care for their laughter.

Lots of SG BMWs at The Seed today when i passed by there. Later when i passed by again, two more BMWs are there. Seen a lot of these cars lately, whether at Adda Heights or elsewhere.

A lone Sg Porsche 911 Carrera zoomed passed me on the part of Coastal highway, from HH to Medini, which is still not open to public yet(we both entered illegally). He was obviously exploring Nusajaya too

There was a golf tournament in HH the last time I went organised by BMW, the whole compound near the clubhouse was full of BMWs parked literally Everywhere!

You sounded exactly like a close friend of mine, he just made such a remark last week and he only came here once, told me he wants to come in next weekend.

hehe, imagine 70% of the imperia buyers are Singaporeans. If we say half of them are buying to stay. The rest are expats staying here, there will definitely be market for these fine places. 5 years ago, we wouldn't have imagined a large plantation would become what it is today. I am sure 10 years later it will transform again, hopefully beyond what we can imagine now.

Thanks Investor, a learned bro of mine shared with me the detailed drawings and another ones wife pointed me like a shining beacon as she was involved in some projects from the SG side so i went ahead with buying more. At that time, i was already in here, highway or not.

People that are automatically dismissed by most even before they have the chance to talk. I respect greatly a HR friend of mine who told me this:

If i can choose between being intelligent or wise, i would rather be wise. Intelligent people have to learn from their mistakes and experience before they turned wise.

Hi Investor, some of these are now already in the public domain such as the pdf from UEM, some documents i
can't share as he only meant to show it to me. Some are from other organisations based in Singapore..

Lets just say what i saw made me really pretty impressed with the amount of faith is in the place.
Being the kind of guy i was, went straight back to SG, transferred money and brought the rest over.

That afternoon, i did what i felt was right and surprised the developers/agents as i had no other questions
except to ask the price.

I then went on to share with every relative and friend who i cared about, started this thread, bought more
and never looked back since.

Agree, sometimes time is not on our side. Its the feeling that the boobytrapped door is closing in on people and yet still lots still inside, some don't even know the door is closing, some still don't want to believe it. Regardless of whether they are interested here or not, i just want to help people realise there is a land outside the borders and we have options. I wish more people can risk their fears and come over here rather than to just give up on themselves and go straight to Bedok Reservoir. There are always other options and choices.

True, people have been going there way before i ever did (i was certainly one of the stauchest anti JB guy once) but the only difference between them and myself is that i am a believer.

I once encouraged some people who were bankrupts and insisted they don't give up but work consistently towards discharging themselves. I am glad to see they are doing fine now. The only time to give up is when you are already embalmed and six feet under.

I seriously don't know a lot but what i knew convinced me to do the right thing for my family.
Now, sceptical friends are asking me about JB.

One relative even recently claimed to my dad she introduced me to Johor 3 years back.
I just smiled to my dad when he told me about that.

Thanks Wuqi. I am sure even if she did introduce you, she did not believe as much as you did to move in entirely with your family and put in everything and encourage more to follow. Saying is easier than doing. What you have done is so much more than just introducing.

Made my first trip today. Very glad I did, time to complete due diligence regarding a move, and then making it.

We have left with a favourable impression of living in HH, taking into account several considerations. Will continue to explore other residential developments around Nusajaya still though.

Our understanding of the area is still very limited, and we were doing a lot of blind driving today.

I must admit though that I was rather surprised at the state of development of the area. From what I'd been reading and hearing, I honestly thought the overall development of the area would be more advanced than what I saw. Then again, I didn't go to Medini or Kota Iskandar etc, and additional visits will probably give me cause to change my view.

Again, all advice taken on board and appreciated.

Totally agree... By hearing as many people as possible actually minimise bad judgement. To be truth, it has been about 10 years since I hear taxi driver talk about their life. Ever since I drove a car...

I think When come to properties, I can be quite risky as well. All my properties in Singapore are all in one location. In Johor, I may end up having all in medini and puteri harbour.

Hi Lizzert, you got the Impiana is it? Brought friends over very recently, no landed left so only condos. Saw units at Imperia as well, 700 plus psft but featuring a lot of nice add ons like centralized vacuum, aircon and grohe toilet stuff.

Wuqi, Yes, the price includes most of the fittings in the show flat.except Fridge, oven and water heaters. But everything else is provided which was another plus point.
I didnt pay that much as I took a 3 rm pool facing unit from the lower block. There werent many left..but the taller block was asking for more psf. In any case, its a good buy for me as the location, size and costs suited my needs. Sorry for late reply as I was away over the last few days. Think they had a launch party/viewing event this weekend -got an invite from UEM in the email.
