Mathematically if all 4 candidates garnered 25% each ....it’s a draw and it means nobody wins and nobody loses.
TJS got 25.04% and he actually won by .04% followed TCB 9.85% and tony 10.19%
The only loser is TKL who lost twice.....in the contest as well as the deposits.
If only TKL had pulled out, the voters would have defected to TCB and TJS by 2.45% each and the result would have been TJS 27.5%, TCB 37.30% and Tony 35.20% thus making Cheng Bock the eventual winner with a 2.1% advantage.
Fucking white hair will lose his high-waist pants if a second round of contest is held between him and Cheng Bock.
From the results it is clear 65% are against him and he will go into history or perhaps the Guinness World of Records as the most hated president in the world.

Agree, TKL should have pulled out. He should have asked supporters of TJS n TCB to raise $48k to pay for his losses instead of trying to look tough. I am sure people will look up to him if he gave way to support the opportunity cause.

That will never happen. The reason why they issued 4 COE was clear indication they did not want the above to happen in the first place. I think this is part of the political learning process that we have to go through. The people will talk about and learn from it so that it will get better the next try.

Contrary to popular belief, he failed to win any of the GRC or SMC. The closest he got to winning a ward was in Hougang where he scored 31%. Unfortunately, this ward is already in WP's hand and he will not be able to leverage on his "excellent" performance in GE2016.

As for his helpers, Jeanette is a dud when it comes to helping in the vote count. Mountbatten is at 20% only. At least Nicole helped raised his average in Marine Parade with him scoring 26.5% there.

This PE has thought me a great lesson on the similarity between sotongs in the sea and those on land.

1. Sotongs in the sea are attracted to light and are caught by man. Sotongs on land are attracted to limelight and are used by man.

2. Sotongs in the sea when cornered will release ink to buy time to escape. Unfortunately, man is still aware of their location and catch them. Sotongs on land will release nonsense like "25% will void their votes and it will not make a difference". Unfortunately, man can understand the difference between 25% and 0.5% and will still nail them.

3. Sotong when dried is called JuiHee and its initial is SJ. On land, its initial is reversed because its brain is dead from birth. Even if we manage to resuscitate the brain to life, it will still only have the capacity of a sotong, nowhere near that of man.

Same sentiments here. TJS is implying that he is the winner of "spoilt" votes. Such inane remarks show he lacks the potential for high office. TJS is a jackass who does not realise that his words will alienate him from his own supporters.

It is not about achievement. Which election did you see can produce 25% spoil votes? This guy is clearly machining around. That remark just brought him closer to the clownish TKL and KJ, in my perception.

Did you ever consider that a lot of anti establishment votes were in that lot. It's called a sacrificial anode and it is one of the best political tool to corral and absorb dissent. A sacrificial anode by itself is a dud. It serves a greater purpose. Gone are the days when you use an organ grinder's monkey. Monkeys now need to be dressed in a suit and tie and with some level of starting credentials. The beauty is to pick one without he knowing it.
