Embattled Manchester United star Ryan Giggs' is back in the headlines again. This time, he is accused of having an eight-year long affair with his brother's wife.
Tabloids in Britain reported that he allegedly cheated on his wife Stacey with 28-year-old Natasha before she began dating his younger brother Rhodri.
According to the News of the World, he spent the night with her as recently as April 9.
Natasha revealed that she was a single mother when she first met Giggs at a Manchester bar in 2003. Stacey, who was then his fiancée, was already pregnant with their first child.
After a brief fling, Natasha and Giggs broke it off. She then started dating Rhodri, who had joined them on one of their nights out.
However, according to the report, Giggs allegedly resumed the relationship the following year, despite Natasha's engagement to Rhodri in 2005 and her subsequent pregnancy.
The paper also quoted Natasha saying through her friend that she had sex with Giggs the day after his eight-year-old daughter was born, and again the day after his four-year-old son was born, while his wife Stacey was still in hospital.
Giggs had earlier been revealed as the mystery footballer who used gag orders to stop allegations of an affair with former Big Brother contestant Imogen Thomas. This is also the reason why his sister-in-law is divulging the details of their own affair.
Natasha had asked him after their final tryst whether rumours about the gag order were true, which he allegedly denied. When she realised that he was lying, it pushed her to break her silence.
She told the News of the World through a 'friend': "When I found out he was cheating with Imogen too, I was really hurt… I know that sounds really strange, but he wasn't just cheating on Stacey, he was cheating on me too. Our relationship was just about sex to him.'
According to the Herald Sun, in June 2008, rumours of their affair spread around Manchester, and Natasha was confronted by one of Ryan's ex-girlfriends to ask if it was true. The alleged affair did not come out, and Natasha married Giggs' brother, Rhodri, in 2010.
Rhodri is reportedly furious at his wife and brother's betrayal.
According to the Sunday tabloid, Natasha told her friend that she realised it was the worst possible betrayal, and that she had tried to end it, "but my relationship with Ryan was like an addiction. Anything he said, I did, I couldn't say no."
Reports say Giggs is currently on a 'make-or-break holiday' with his wife and children before the allegations surfaced yesterday.
