I have heard of some broken families and some sob stories because of gambling.

However, I know personally of a SG guy who lost his gf due to his gambling addiction. Up to now, 10 years later, he still has not gotten over the loss.

So, to all who enjoy gambling and think that it's just entertainment and fun...beware!!! Gambling can cause irreparable sorrows and damage to your life. Dont be addicted.

For SG, crime will increase, loan sharking will proliferate, vices will flourish, misery will spread. Is the gain from the IRs worth all the damage to SG?

The pap is bankrupt of ideas when it had to resort to using gambling to help SG progress. Any monkey also know that legalising and promoting will bring money into SG. But many human beings will not advocate this kind of money and progress

I am not gainst leegaling gaming dens

But I am dead against putting the two biggest Leegalised gaming dens very near to the world biggest banks,one of the two is even within walking distance.

The first and second PAP generation leaders were against gambling. They worked hard for SG and made sure that Singaporeans progressed and yet were sheltered fomr the ills of addiction.

The 3rd generation PAP leaders led by the useless LHL, were bankrupt of ideas and took the easy way by legalising and building casinos. The ill efefcts will be seen in yrs to come. LHL and his team has caused irreparable damage to SG and Singaporeans.

Dont blame LKY for the casinos. we must be fair

i hv heard of many uncles and aunties who lost a lot to jackpot machines and have caused them much miseries.

dun underestimate the harm of the machines
