Taiwan govt will make a Dr Sun documentary next year for 中华民国100年 celebrations.

Lau Sun had many achievements but his legacy were full of untruths and lies, made up by the nationalists and communists. If he didn't die early, he would be Stalin No.1 Comintern agent in China.

Unfortunately Sun Yat sen cannot fight. Although i seem to recall a Kungfu Sun zhongshan movie in the 80s and it bombed.

that a bit unfair... personally me no fan of Sun Da Pao, but i believe he kowtow to stalin because stalin was the only western power willing to provide arms and aids to the KMT during the 1920s.

you are right, only Soviet Union was willing to help KMT.

my opinion is toward the end of his life, Sun Yat-sen was a de facto Soviet agent, sowing the seeds of struggles and conflicts between KMT and CCP which led to the disasters of Chinese peoples in 20th century.

Sun had mentioned on his death bed that 'enemies are just beside you' to Wang Jingwei. Maybe Sun had realized his blunder in allying with USSR/CCP and meant the 'enemies' to be Russian and CCP agents.

Sun close aides were around when he passed away. that incident was mentioned in Li Zongren memoirs. Li Ao also talked about that in his books but I cannot remember his sources.

Wang Jingwei was a traitor but he wasn't that bad as portrayed in history books.

Oh, you obviously have not been to an American movie theater and also naive to their culture. Your above statement might be made on pure ignorance but may be construed by others as the Pinkerton syndrome.

Your attitude is typical of the ignorant, defensive Chinese. When questioned, you guys always choose to bring in other parties (Americans in this case) to turn it into a "them vs us" fight instead of addressing the issue. Or you guys will attack the Chinese critics among us and brand us as "bananas". Creating a siege mentality will win you support from fellow blind Chinese supporters but does nothing to promote progress. Also, please note that I wasn't the one who brought in Hollywood to deflect criticism about Chen Zhen.

It is attitude like yours' and the other guy that makes us Chinese weak. If all Chinese learn to take criticisms and learn from them instead of being so defensive, Pinkerton syndrome would have long disappeared because the Chinese would be the dominant race. FYI, I do NOT have high regards for most of the whites I meet at work.

Finally about the American movie audience... perhaps you are unaware of certain facts. When the trailer for Rambo 3 was first played, American audience jeered. By then the Cold War was over and he was seen as an outdated Cold War relic. The typical American moviegoer may not be sophisticated but at least they do not like watching a broken record.

Wang Jingwei puppet armies were never trusted by IJA to take part in any China wars. The wayang armies were used to hold ground behind IJA invasion force in Southern China. The puppet armies never fought against nationalists troops, CCP armies mainly fought against the puppet armies not Japan after 1941.

Chiang Kai Shek against his senior commanders advices made the fatal mistake of completely disbanding the puppet armies at end of WW2, ironically those soldiers went en masse to CCP side.

OIC so u're strong cos you love to jeer your own culture assuming you're chinese but if others are defensive they are weak.
