The accident happened in less than 2 hours after the conclusion of the wedding dinner. Wife suspected that husband went for a puff at the staircase landing of the hotel, the emergency door may have closed. Husband may have panicked and try to find a way out, unfortunately fell from the third level in the process.

Think he left the rm 4 a quick smoke in the stairway. Couldn't get bk in coz it's 1 way fire door. Try few floor no luck... they r all 1 way door. Eventually try climbing a balconly...din make it n fall to his death...:(

I was once caught in dis 1 way door shit n i assure u the exp ish far frm pleasant...

Went to sis in law orpid 2 do some work...decide 2 use de stairs coz lift is hog up by some tenant shifting...few floor frm grd i try 2 open the stairway door but unable to...got a shock when i reached grd floor... it's pad lock!! End up calling sil to help open de stairway door frm outside...

She told me her staff kena many time leow...Grd floor by right shd not b pad lock but after security caught some unauthorised entry via stairway, bldg mgmt decided to pad lock it. I ask her lidat fire how? She say where got so many fire 1...

Come to think of it, ccb reporter also responsible for her predicament for taking photos of her after her suicide attempt.

As I have said before in the suicide section, leave her alone. How was she supposed to face the world after all those photos being published even if she wants to go out and socialise?

Now end up a young life waste plus heart broken family members.

if you are lock by one way emergency door, do not panic, wait at the door.
emergency door are not smoking alley, if you have to smoke, go out of the hotel.

Hilton Hotel is not a very "clean" place. Esp the stretch that links to Four Seasons Hotel. One night, I was walking through that walkway to Four Seasons and I got a very strong feeling of being watched which immediately sent the chills down my spine!

Ms Kerin Peh, 27, is believed to have jumped from the block where her family lives at Hougang Ave 8. Paramedics who arrived at the scene around 2am, pronounced her dead.

The happiest day of her life turned out to be her saddest also! All within a matter of hours. How to take it? Every waking moment is a torture! So, death is the easy way out of her misery! But then, it'll cause further pain and grief to her family members. :(

The pain is too much for her to endure. Probably have very bad sleep everynight. she want to die to take away the pain.

doctor should have given her high dose of drugs or the doctor given her the wrong type of drug. anti depressant in some case can turn someone suicidial.

While no one was exactly sure wat happen tat day... CCTV show Mr Leong panic and trying to open de exit door frm floor to floor...He mus hab exhausted all means of escape b4 doing sumting dangerous like climbing a balcony...

All emergency mus be able to open at grd floor and rooftop...But in reality dis wasn't the case... I was not de oni 1 ever get trap in 1 way door exit stairs...some of my friends oso kena b4...

I never like de idea of a 1 way door...wat if u nid 2 evacuate at 10th floor but the stairway ish impassable at 5th floor? De option ish 2 use de other stairway across de bldg but u r screwed since all door r 1 way...
