☼ When a Jap company makes a mistake, its boss will step down even if he had served for 20 or 30 years.
☆ When a Sporn company makes a mistake, its boss will continue working as usual.
☼ Jap gakuen (high school) is aplenty and entry is not too difficult in actuality.
☆ Sporn jcs are few and entry is very antiquated and challenging even for neighborhood rubbish types.
☼ Jap criminal commits a crime but records are not reflected on his ID and after a few years in jail he comes out free and is a new unknown ordinary person in public again, for better or worse.
☆ Sporn criminal commits a crime and his IC gets a black mark so even if he comes out of jail he cannnot easily go legitimate or get a proper job because everybody through his identification knows he has done unlawful things and are hesitant to hire him.
☼ Jap universities and even gakuen in view of the bludgeoned economy are willing to lower entry requirements for mainly local students.
☆ Sporn universities ignore the economy and even raise their entry standards to attract but more clever people from gifted schools in other countries.
☼ Japs are proud of themselves and will support each other and some of them are even bold enough to look at mat sallehs as dirt (ie getting off the train seat when a gaijin sits next to them on the belief that they don't bathe regularly and therefore, stink).
☆ Sporns are more "individualistic", enjoy running down their own people lots and zestfully suck up to mat sallehs as much as they possibly could to reaffirm their identities.
☼ Japs give good service and are professional.
☆ Sporns? Hmm, not really.
☼ Any Jap whose father and mother are also Japs is automatically considered a Jap citizen even if he has been taking up residency or citizenship abroad.
☆ Sporns do not enjoy the same privilege save residents born outside Spornland.
☼ Japs are given the full and free right to criticize their leaders and the ruling party everyday and are taught to distrust the government. There is little trust between them all in all.
☆ Sporns are constantly reminded to be respectful towards their leaders and the ruling party and to speak in terms of an existence of evidence when it comes to allegations (or face fine, jail and asylum confinement as punishment otherwise) and join politics directly when it comes to policy critiques. There is more trust between them all in all.
☼ Jap government is more nationalist.
☆ Sporn government is more internationalist.
My opinions...
When a Japanese minister is exposed as corrupted, he commits suicide.
When a Sinkie MP is exposed as corrupted, he will get arrested but in the future, MP's salary will increase to prevent corruption.
The companies in Japan are willing to hire locals and stick strictly to locals.
The companies in Singapore are more interested in foreigners cause 'locals dont want the job'.
The Prime Minister in Japan can only serve for several years.
The PM in Singapore can serve as long as he wishes.
The Japanese women are more loyal wives.
The Singaporean women will just throw herself at another rich guy while married.:p
