Many countries feel cheated by China claim that they have 1.4billion of population and huge market. So these countries trade with China but China communist cheated them and they only want to sell and don’t want to buy.
At the end all countries suffer serious trade deficit in trading with China
This is true. But you have to acknowledge their GDP compared to the other countries. They are manufacturing much more than their own domestic market can purchase. The unfair state subsidies made it even worse.
At the end of the day, I'm sure every body will like to buy a cheaper product, vis-a-vis with the same functionality. Also, if their products are not cheap and reasonably functional, their products wouldn't have got accepted worldwide, especially when the concept nowadays is use and throw mentality. No body does repairs anymore.
China is the world's manufacturing hub which even the Multi-national companies have turned to for their manufacturing base. Name those American and Japanese renown brandnames and many of their products are also Made-In-China. How to avoid when their own countries' manufacturing costs are so high?
I've said many times before. It's not that they cannot make good and durable products (otherwise why are APPLE, ASUS, DELL, HP and many others are Made-In-China?), but since the consumers will always demand a cheaper price, hence, they only manufacture their own brandname products which comply to the bare minimum specifications. APPLE and DELL are examples of how these American Inc make huge profits for themselves by manufacturing in China. So, in the end, 80% of their profits earned will still go back to these American Inc. I can also see that their own brandname products are improving and getting better by the day. They have to in order to build their reputation, otherwise, how to compete even amongst their own competitors?
One way to avoid China dumping their goods is for the recipient countries to impose a minimum selling price with China for the Chinese made products. For example, I believe the EU is now working with China on the minimum price of their EVs to be sold in the EU. If China will be able to come to a compromise and comply, then it can be a win-win situation for the Sellers to sell and the Buyers to protect their own domestic manufacturers. Malaysia already has such a practice in the import of EVs. All imported (CBU) EVs cannot be sold for less than RM100k. Only CKD manufacturers are allowed to sell their EVs below RM100k.
