There's more ethnic integration in the Malaysia than in Singapaore, especially in the kampungs, despite their Bumiputra policy.
Our CMIO policy has failed utterly. A whole generation of Singaporeans have grown up without a single close minority friend and not knowing how to speak the national language. The young Malays themselves are losing proficiency in their own language while becoming more obsessed with religious ritual and dress (where are the Malay cikgus in kebaya we used to see in the '60s and '70s). Our local Indians are looking increasingly to their motherland Bharat for economic and marital opportunities, showing increasing intolerance towards the Chinese and especially Malays/Muslims (like
@duluxe).
The day the PAP started mowing down the kampungs and rehousing everyone in HDB estates was the day the rot started.
