The arabs did not liberate huge swath of land from spain to central asia because of the quran nor religion
They liberate most of these land easily because of there was no religion to begin with. Nobody was forced to convert. Its just a community that believed in one Supreme God.and it was easy for people to integrate into this belief.
How it turned into a religious movement is another matter. That came later on. Maybe imposed by the caliphs in order to control the masses.

the quran scribers probably tried their best to put the ideas into writing so that many people can understand. But the foundatuon of the belief is you do not need a book or religion to believe in One Supreme God
