What truly MATTERS is the SUBSTANCE between one's ears. One can drive the latest model of BMW, dressed in the most expensive clothes & attire, but if that critical substance is empty, one would be treated as an air-head to be used & abused.

One can argue that when one owns expensive items, it shows refinement, taste, class & intelligence to others, as such is what it takes to reach the top, or so claimed by luxury goods advertisement. So too those whom took own loans, being thrifty at one's own health or health to others to buy such expensive items.

It takes MORE than material goods to show refinement, taste, class & intelligence to make LASTING impressions. It comes from VALUES that each Human aspires to achieve -Integrity, courage, dependability, altruism, well-being, generosity, gratitude, sustainability, etc, that would endear a Human to another & be valued & treasured for life.
