Why do the NTUC I frequent near my home and the Cold Storage near her condo place their condoms and display shelves near the self pay checked out counters?

At least in Don Don Donki, they have a special section somewhere "deep" inside the store where there's some privacy and I can slowly take my time and make a good choice of condoms and lubricants.

I realy felt embarrassed and uneasy yesterday. The funny eyes of people who are queuing to self pay staring at me when I was brrowsing condoms and lubricants near the self pay checked out counters.

Worse is a young Chinese lady (who looks like she's in the 20s) kept giving me the funny grin as if I am a horny sex pervert or object.

I was awkward, sheepish and have to quickly select a box that wasn't really what I wanted. The fit was too small last night. What a waste of money.
