PARTY STATEMENT: RESIGNATION OF MS RAEESAH KHAN
The Workers’ Party would like to announce that Ms Raeesah Khan has resigned from the Party, which entails the resignation of her position as an MP.

The Workers’ Party Central Executive Committee (CEC) met at 8pm on 30 November to deliberate and decide on the recommendation of the Disciplinary Committee which had been formed on 2 November to investigate Ms Khan’s admissions in Parliament.

At 4.30pm today, 30 November, Ms Khan indicated to Mr Singh her intention to resign from the Party. She then attended the CEC meeting at 8pm and conveyed in person her intention to resign.

The Party will hold a press conference on Thursday 2 December to provide more information on this matter and to share its plans to ensure that Sengkang residents, particularly in the Compassvale ward, continue to be cared for and represented.

On June 29 2020 , " Lee Hsien Loong ........added that PAP will investigate the allegations against former candidate Ivan Lim after the July 10 General Elections .............I don’t think that should be the end of the matter .........We don't have time to settle it now,.......So, after the elections, the party will investigate the veracity of allegations against Ivan and we will come to a view on the matter.'

Now almost one and the half years later what happen Ivan Lim?
WP acted swiftly but PAP with all the resources available has yet to tell the public what happened and nobody who made these allegations were sued

Palmer announced his resignation as Speaker of Parliament and MP for Punggol East (as well as from the PAP) on 12 December 2012 due to an extra-marital affair with Laura Ong Hui Hoon, constituency director of the People's Association (PA) office in Pasir Ris–Punggol GRC.[1][8] At a press conference, alongside Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean, Palmer admitted he had made "a grave mistake" and that it was "a serious error of judgment". He resigned "in order to avoid further embarrassment". The PA staff member concerned also resigned.[3] The PAP subsequently lost the by-election in Palmer's Punggol East constituency in January 2013 when Lee Li Lian of the Workers' Party (who Palmer had defeated in the 2011 general election) won the seat, defeating the PAP's candidate Koh Poh Koon.

Now she is free to post on social media, and join the minority in Singapore, to start complaining about not given equal opportunity like the Chinese. Luckily, Singapore is run by Chinese, but occassional let the m&d feel happy to be a useless expensive puppet.

Ivan Lim is not in parliament. He has been quietly dropped.

Ms Raeesah Khan can conitune to seek to empower underprivileged women in the NGO Reyna Movement without embarrassing the opposition parties.
She can work with the HRW to help hapless women defend their rights and secure justice.

WP should have ensured that she resigned immediately when they first know she lied. That episode in parliament shouldn't have taken place. That should be the MO of a party with aspiration to lead.

No by elections needed. Jamus more than capable to cover.
