KNN my uncle leelised some people say thanks or apologise for no leeson especially at the workplace and rook leelee stoopid KNN so he want to list out the improper time to do so KNN

When not to say KNN
1. If it is your job to perform a task indicated in your job scope eg to flag out a error either verbally or through messaging and after you have done so it should be the recipient to thank you not the other way KNN but my uncle see many goons saying thanks KNN you perform your role and say thanks to him ?
