Assaination attempt on Huawei CFO

No wonder she has her own private security to escort her around. They look highly professional like ex-secret service agent types.

Now you see that Huawei isn't just another smartphone company.

U cannot trust Huawei all your info sent to mainland china for processing

Chinese espionage is always true. Many years ago when my wife and I were holidaying in Beijing, she had bought a handphone there, made by one of those local Chinese companies and using the compatible Nokia Symbian OS. Android was not even born yet at that time hor. One day, I found out that this bloody phone will randomly record your tele-conversations without your knowledge and there is no way to stop this from happening. I further believe that if ever the phone will be connected to the Internet, it will relay all these recorded tele-conversations back to their server in China. As this phone was supposed to be meant for their domestic market, so I believe it's more to eavesdrop on their own citizens and make arrests to those who are anti-CCP.

No need assassinate
Just threaten her with her family she will gladly consume poison wine. This is imperial China SOP since the beginning of time

Did you send for repair? It sounds like a defective phone to me. The record button contact has an issue.

How to send for repair? The guarantee is only valid in China. If I remember correctly, there is no physical record button, but only the touch screen and the numeric keypad. It is definitely not defective but purposely programmed for eavesdropping your tele-conversation.

I believe that's why she (and a lot of them) got their families out to Ang moh countries in the first place.

Don't want to get vanished before sunrise, meet with an 'accident', suddenly feeling 'suicidal' or have fatal 'food poisoning' at a buffet.

Huawei is closely linked to China's military. The Chicoms really don't want her to be extradited to the USA. She might squeal everything, including why Huawei defied US sanctions to trade with Iran.
