I hate to defend Bayi. But there's nothing under the Legal Profession Act nor Professional Conduct Rules nor any other Subsidiary Legislations that forbid an ex-PAP Bayi MP from representing PRPTC due to "conflict of interest".

Check with both WP's Ho Yeow Sun (Sylvia Lim) and Bayi Jnr (Pritam Singh), both lawyers, if you don't believe me. Why do you think these two have not raise a ruckus if there is indeed that "conflict of interest" that you claimed?

Don't try to make it like these three clowns are heroes who are being persecuted politically when this case is simply one of either corruption, incompetence or possibly both. If you and the WP flock do, you and the WP flock are no different from those UMNO clowns who claim Najib is being politically persecuted when the glaring evidence is staring them right in their faces.

They are probably incompetent in town council management (who isn't when you are new in running the ops of a GRC which they won in GE), but I still cannot accept that the fact that they are being put through all these by the Whites. It's plain bullying. Nothing more, nothing less. :D

I was in the old WP and I still have contacts with some in the new WP. I have also served time for my beliefs. So I can tell you that beyond their carefully cultivated public image of being "bullied" and "persecuted", Low Thia Khiang and Sylvia Lim are hardly honest nor angels. They are "bullies" themselves. They are not clean. Check with past and current WP cadres if you do not believe me. Yes, they still talk although they have been threatened not to and are restrained by these two clowns.

If at all, these two have been allowed to get away with many things because the PAP needed them to be around as a pseudo-opposition. Low Thia Khiang, especially, was LKY's favourite blue-eyed boy. He would have been jailed or bankrupted 25 years ago had he not been LKY's blue-eyed boy and a useful idiot who could do the opposition in. Many of my older WP colleagues still believe him to be a PAP mole sent in to destroy the WP. Such was/is the damage he has done to the genuine opposition.

Be it as it may, time has already passed. I am sure if I am you, I would have the same historical baggage too. However, I prefer to look to the future structure more than personalities. Personalities come and go. I was never a JB Jeye fan and I do dislike his style and approach. As much as he is concerned, I accept that he did tried his best. Low Sylvia and Pritam will come and go too. All I hope for is an entrenched Opposition and not a monopoly by the whites. Just my idealistic dream, maybe, but I hope my meagre 100 bucks of about 8 packets of Marlboro did help a little, hopefully...:D
