There was still a crowd seen at the MRT station as at 9.11am, following the incide

Many people were probably late from work.

I was there just now, actually she was pushed cos someone tried to make it into the train.. Just that she missed her footing and fell in.

SBS Transit handled the situation quite well. Upon realizing the situation, they kept the doors open and alighted all passengers to release the weight pressing on the lady's legs.

Within the first 20 minutes, staff were on the ground to create space and rescue the lady. The public even attempted to push the train but to no avail. Upon realizing it cannot be done, SCDF arrived within the next 15 minutes and shuttle services were deployed.

Whole incident lasted for about 45 minutes, and the train at boonkeng had trouble moving off. As announced, there was a train fault at harbourfront platform A that caused passengers to alight again at boonkeng. Service resumed approximately close to an hour.

SCDF deserves commending though, they came in swiftly and resolved the situation within 15 minutes. And even visually blocked the other passengers to protect the lady's dignity. Albeit the negative bunk saga weeks back, their performance and ability cannot be denied today.

SINGAPORE – A woman's leg was stuck between the platform gap at Boon Keng MRT station this morning (May 14), causing a train delay along the North East Line (NEL).
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was alerted to the incident at 8.10am. The woman, in her 40s, was then freed by the SCDF using hydraulic rescue tools.

She has been conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital in a stable and conscious state, said the SCDF.
SBS Transit tweeted that the NEL service towards Harbourfont was delayed up to 10 minutes. The Land Transport Authority (LTA) announced free bus services at all NEL stations via Twitter at around 8.45am.

KNN find the pusher and push him/her onto the tracks.

I don't understand why sinkies are always "in a rush" to get to their destination.....
1) must get in MRT doors
2) must speed on the roads (not talking about E-ways)
3) must squeeze into the lifts
4) run 50 meters just to catch the bus that happens to arrive......

The 'fast pace' of life in an overcrowded urban shithole. Everything is a rush, everything is a competition. ;)

leg kena stucked can also be of national interests?
