Why should the state say no to more money? Good governments are costly and you shouldn't fault us for that. We do an excellent job at sustaining ourselves in these tough times.

Foreign workers pay levies but no CPF. Levies are non-refundable but CPF are refundable with interest.

Since the levy is part of the revenue stream for the paps and if just $100 is collected from each foreign worker per month, it is easy to see an amount of $100 million going to the Govt coffer from a pool of 1 million foreign workers in sinkie land.

Not bad job for sustaining "ourselves" in these tough times. If paps need to screw the sinkies to get this 100 million every month, so be it.

Background Story: NBC News: NUS hired an Associate Professor with a fake PhD
This incident will have terrible consequences for Singapore. The US will require more checks & inquiries from ALL people originating from this fairy tale island of Singapore from here on. Thank you NUS & ICA! If you’ve done your job properly, this wouldn’t have happened. Brings to mind a few things:
1. ACADEMIC STANDARDS OF NUS
An ex-NUS fraud exposed overseas now asks how many more are there in the NUS system. For a university that constantly crows about high academic rankings, what are NUS graduates really studying? Based on real studies or make believe ones. It shows up how naive NUS is in recruiting foreigners or ‘foreign talents’ as the PAP would like to call them. Fake trash more likely. NUS must be recruiting anyone who can ‘hot air’ their resumes without first checking or verifying their credentials & quoted experience – the hallmark of a gullible institution. Next maybe a former butcher disguised as a world famous surgeon.
2. STEPPING STONE
Fake trash like Anoop Shankar passed through Singapore in order to go their ultimate destination i.e. USA or UK. Spore serves as a convenient stepping stone for unscrupulous foreigners to game the emigration system by using Singapore as a credible reference point. One wonders how many more are there in Singapore doing the same – ‘laundry-ing’ their resume in Singapore before launching to USA or other developed economies.






3. REAL INTENTION OF FT POLICY
The popping of FT’s fake credentials & fraudulent claims in & out of Singapore reveals a sinister dark intention of the PAP govt. PAP’s FT policy is a political one – serves to undermine native Singaporeans & subjugate them beneath foreigners to create a ‘divide & rule’ environment for PAP to dominate. 2nd phase is to convert them to grateful citizens to form a strong PAP voting core.

The other control mechanism over foreigners is that ICA remains perpetually blind to all the fake foreign accreditation circulating in MOM. The occasional exposing of fake trash by ICA is just a PAP statement on whose the boss in Singapore & is just tip of the ice-berg. The FT policy was never about economics. LOL! Gullible Singaporeans fooled for over 10 years when the FT issue first came out. Kept voting for PAP in the GE despite being eroded from within by PAP & corroded by the huge foreigners influx.
