Anyone knows who is the writer of this article "Living with myths : The Singapore Story" ?? A bit lengthly but quite an interesting read on Singapore's alternative history.

I wouldn't worry too much. Its about a discredited ideology and political system.The side that was associated with it knowingly or unknowingly are trying to distance themselves by cherry picking events and applying selective interpretation to convince themselves and their families.

They are also giving the impression that there is a dialogue or forums or events where both sides met had a series of discourse when none occurred. They also dragged in Thum into their camp.

Both sides played dirty at that time in history.

When Hong Lysa writes, it the same style with 3 constants themes - chinese ed vs english ed, we are leftist and heroes and history is all wrong. Very emotional and slanted with no proper citation, simply her interpretation.

Reminds of people growing old and taking to religion with fervour.

She also has a ready audience of ex Nantah retirees who have time to spare on both sides of the causeway and love to talk about the old days.
