The number of Ah nehs applicants applying for a job opening is just astonishing. My department recently have a temp position open and out of 10 applicants you get 8 from India! Out of the remaining 2 you have one that is ah neh that is residing here, while remaining, an "inexperience" local. This is for a lowly paid, low skilled job. You get "Managers", "executive" applying for a temp, not a permanent position from India! Is this what you see in SIngapore as well? Is that why companies hire more ah nehs? Our company is fortunate enough that getting a visa to work here is not as simple as Singapore, so most of the 80% of the resume are out of the door. Still, does this show that the ah nehs are more willing to work then locals?
