What do these people have in common?
Peter Lim, Lim Cheng Hoe, Michael Palmer, Chung Cheong Weng, Ng Chun Wei, Ong Thiam Hock, Muhd Mustaffa, etc.
They have been convicted of corruption in Singapore Courts. Some are ordinary Civil Servants. Some are top Civil Servants. One is a top PAP politician. They are just some who got caught and were exposed. They were corrupt because of money, sex, etc. How many more got away or were not exposed. Are they just a tip of the iceberg. Is the disease much more severe and unseen by Singaporeans?
They make a mockery of PAP's high-pay-to-avoid-corruption argument.
A corrupt person will not become incorrupt because he is paid well. A corrupt person who is paid well will just become a richer corrupt person. Will the PAP acknowledge they were wrong to use pay to make a person incorrupt?
