This is exactly why you shouldn't have kids in Singapore. Besides the crazy education system, you're also subjecting them to regimental constraints, training them to be unquestioning, obedient serfs.

Don't forget about the haze, and the fact that diseases (particularly children-specific ones such as hand-foot-mouth disease) spread much faster in an overpopulated environment.

Kids are kids. If not allowed to play boisterously, what else do they want them to do or become in later years?

All this recent talks about "bringing back the kampung-spirit" just don't make sense.

"Leaders" ought to think carefully before making a mockery of themselves via silly statements like this.

Seems the government do not have a Quality Control channel where all statements Must be vetted before allowed to become public.

The Govt should realise that the media is not helping them but making them laughing stocks.
