Technological changes have changed the world in the past 10 to 20 years but 2 things about the world don't change: peoples' bodies and peoples' characters.
People are still suffering the same ailments they have been suffering all these years and exhibiting the same nasty character traits since the beginning of time.
But one thing I have noticed getting worse is the number of rich people getting more smug - arrogant, complacent, haughty etc when dealing with people just because they think they have a few dollars. Don't they realize that they can't bring the money with them when they die (which is a sure thing) and could suffer tragedies/retribution in their lives?
And also the number of spoilt poor people who despite not having money, demand the very best things in life, like the best handphones, luxury goods, accomodation, lifestyles and behave as if the world owes them a living in public. Don't they realize that they ought to live simply and lower their expectations?
