Cisco officer shot herself in the head at Supreme Court this afternoon

Police confirm a Certis Cisco officer was found dead with a gunshot wound to her head in a toilet at the Supreme Court this afternoon. The officer was in her early 20s, and no foul play is suspected. Details to follow.

There are just too many of these CISCO & Police Force suicides, don't they have psychological evaluation before the employ the person & annual evaluation?? What one fine day, one of these people decided to shoot others, other than themselves??

SINGAPORE - On Jan 29 2013, at about 1:15pm, an incident occurred at the Supreme Court which led to the demise of a Certis CISCO Auxiliary Police Officer ("APO"), the late Ms Lim Kooi Khim.

The APO, a Malaysian, was born in June 1992. She was enlisted with Certis CISCO in June 2012 and has been deployed to the Supreme Court since late October 2012.

The Police are currently investigating the incident. Deputy Assistant Commissioner Chua Chuan Seng, Commander of Certis CISCO Auxiliary Police Force and senior officers from Certis CISCO, together with the security team from the Supreme Court, have been rendering assistance to the Police for their investigations.

According to the Police, no foul play is suspected and investigations are ongoing.

We are deeply saddened by this episode.

Certis CISCO and the Supreme Court will extend our fullest support to the family members of the APO and provide any assistance they may require.

you have a very important and valid point here.
but it is very difficult to pick up and even screen for a potentially mentally disturbed person.
on the other hand, many mentally disturbed people are doing a great job and they are not suicidal.
why somebody suddenly freaks out and kills himself is still a mystery....genetics do play a part though

there are many mad people running around - especially in this forum.
