Bro if we know will be like strike lottery right? There r so many contributing factors that no one factor will be the best indicator of an end stage of d bull run. My advice will be do so if u can afford and do not overstretch ur finances.

I usually try to allocate fund on the third wave of a market movement.

Look at how fast the S$ shrink. Today term, S$130,000 probably buys you a small cc car compares to 3 -4 years back when one can buy a small car for $60 plus K, and a Toa Payoh resale HDB costing $200K then now costs S$400k. Keep too much dollars after few years cannot buy anything. If $131k lock in cpf then take out in 10 years most probably has shrunk to $65k as seen from the example of the rapidly shrinking value in term of buying power. That $131k can put down payment for 2 Teega units and see the values slowly and surely increasing. I definitely agrees on your point.

Agree with your price assessement of the new phase which is why i won't be buying anytime soon. I would rather have my pick of ready and waiting buildings as i always do. Even back then my purchase of HH houses was mostly done by buying resale.

When do you think the prices will come down? So keen on investment in Wetlands but prices seems high, yet if dont get now, prices in future sure higher like it is now for Gateway & Golf (even Hills) resales. I am having the classic dilemma.

Reason secondary market leap and bounds today is no sellers at any reasonable price. No inventory of willing sellers.

When do you think you will look in again? dilemma :*:

Thank you for your great insight! It looks like the US is going to print more with the legislated debt limit for govt already hit the limit again. Japanese CB is also under a lot of pressure to do likewise. The phenomena of hot money seems to me just occurring in Malaysia and Singapore. I have some funds in commodity and Apac properties but they are giving negative return right now. Hope will recover eventually. Only my genting plantation (which has huge plantation land in johor) shares does very well. If QEs keep coming everywhere, it seems owning something solid than just mere paper or electronic digits make more sense like you suggested.

If for own stay, can look elsewhere, even Kulai would be good to check out before their prices go higher than their current.

For this kind of money, best to check and compare with other projects like EL which is very similar to HH and appeals to the same crowd. compare on layout - dead space, quality of finish, surrounding etc. Only then can feel whether it is value for your money for this project.

Hi folks, thinking of buying a Hills Bungalow from developer and the price is going to be out soon. It should be around RM 4M (rounding up)...I'm buying for own stay but of course hope that the value appreciates well. So my question is...assuming the appreciation continues, would it be more profitable to use the RM 4M to buy 2 terraces or buy one bungalow?
