We who take MRT will be paying for their mistakes, the 10mil will come back very fast.

No mistakes, no corruptions, in fact cases have fallen, they are lapses! you should thank you luck stars you are in living in SINgapore & have these people running the country for you! They are just LAPSES!!

Agree. Just lower your benchmark of comparison and eveything will be fine.
You should be thankful you get to travel INSIDE the train, breakdowns and delays are not life threatening.
In some countries people have to hang on the train from the outside.

I wonder how many committees were set up in the past and how much was thrown into the drain just like that with no concrete result.

Minister salary review comittee
Various Accidents review comittee
think tank comittee
and all the expensive KNNBCCB committees

springing up every now and then to make a wayang out of a serious problems.

...and the list goes on
