Why didn't attend closing ceremony?

The Olympic closing ceremony was represented by the most prominent athletes from respective countries carrying their national flags into the stadium.

In that sense, Feng Tianwei should have stayed and carried Singapore's flag into the stadium.

But why didn't she or their team stayed? Is this further indication that they are just here for the money? The contract of being paid only to compete, nothing more. No flag carrying shit, no pledge of loyalty to Singapore, no representation of our country?

Just a cold commercial contract?

If so, then thanks once again to our fantastic FAP for selling out Singapore's national spirit and the people.

there were no parade of nations, no country banners, no flag bearers by individual nations in the closing ceremony. just loose groups of athletes like a mass swirling bowel movement freely walking out and filling up the void sections in the field.
