Penang Laksa is not the same dish as Sinkie Laksa, indeed stupid to argue about it.
But if you were to compare Penang Laksa sold in Singapore vs those in Penang, of course Penang's Penang Laksa is better.

Fried Kway Teow? Without a doubt Penang beats Singapore.

Chicken Rice? Singapore is world lumbar one indeed...
So is the Sinkie pepper crab. Even the Thais think likewise.

Culinary skills as a whole? Of course Thai is #1

I loved Penang Asam Laksa its a healthier choice compered to SG Laksa too much coconut milk,
cause high chlorestrol! Chay Kway Teow Penang is any time taste better than SG!
Cuttle fish kangkong in Penang beats SG hands down!

Price wise Penang food beats SG heands down they are better and cheaper than SG.
Mixed veg rice in SG you'll see the hawkers whatever he lifted he will shake it down giving you lesser
whereas in Malaysia You help youself to amount you want! I loved it!! price cheaper than SG!!!

Seem to me SG food taste, quality and Prices are going down the drain!!! thanks to the Stupid Food court
higher prices and lower quality and quantity! Lousy taste!!

Example Yu Kee duck rice employ mostly PRC you'll be disapointed to see the amount getting lesser and higher prices!!!

Yes Bro.. Been to Penang's Sah Tiau Loh few years ago and tried their Prawn noodle.. The best that I had tasted..

If Singapore food of the same name taste like Vanilla, then Penang is like Chocolate. Both popular but very different taste. Both are excellent.

Malaysia seem to have a self-esteen problem. They try to claim everything is there. Awhile ago, they claim Balinese dance is from Malaysia, now they claim Chicken rice, what is next? r they going to claim nuclear power is from them too?
