I was taking a bus to holland v today... I noticed how loud a mainland chinese people was speaking to another....WHY MUST THEY TALK SO LOUD? Are they deaf? Why huh? MAYBE IN CHINA....The city is heavily populated and noisy. People need to yell to get noticed.

Or is it that Chinese is a tonal voice that comes deep from within the breast and they develop really powerful voices.

Or is it that lots of Mainland Chinese people live tough lives and they have a lot of aggression that explodes through their voice.

Or are the Mainland Chinese proud. Maybe a loud voice makes them feel powerful.

I hate riding the bus just because of loud people. When they get off work, they talk to each other none-stop really loudly. They talk even more loudly on their mobile phones. Not even talking. Really actually fucking yelling!!!!!

THE STUPID PAP MINISTERS KEEP TALKING ABOUT SOICAL INTEGRATION. ASK THEM TAKE BUS AND MRT LAH...HOW TO INTEGRATE WITH THESE DEAF PEOPLE WHO TALK SO LOUD!!!

While waiting for Euro matches to kickoff these days, sometimes I could hear a PRC woman talking very loudly (and very rapidly, in that unmistakable Tiong accent) downstairs. Seems to me she's arguing with her man over the phone with lots of angry and harsh words being exchanged. The entire HDB carpark and the void decks of adjacent blocks reverberated with her shrill shrieking voice.

This happened more than once, and it's after midnight or around 1am.

It's wise to keep a few banglas in the void deck.

PAP SHOULD PASS NEW LAWS to ban people from speaking on phones in buses and mrt!!

It is in their DNA lah.

Last time, they had to shout across hills when they were farmers.

Then during Mao times, everyone spoke loudly enough for their neighbours to hear, to assure everyone that they were not talking bad about old man Mao.
Anyone caught whispering is deemed to be plotting against the gahmen.

So in Singapore, they are telling us that they have arrived and mean us no harm.

it's an individual thing. i hear some ang moh speak very loud but i don't generalize and say many ang moh speak loudly like a loudspeaker.

They are like dogs, barking until voice cords become loose. That is how you tell an old dog from a young dog. For Ah Tiongs, they lost it in their 40s. My old BMT encik different breed, don't know how he manage to shout and get heard at the other end of parade square.

the fellows who are here are your run of the mill country bumpkins..as i said earlier...you can make the peasant a king but you cannot take away the peasant in the king....

IN JAPAN, speaking on the mobile phone is not allowed in the train...
SMRT and SBSTRANSIT should implement this rule in our trains...

Nothing wrong with using mobile phones in trains and buses as long as you keep it short, sweet and soft. Don't have to follow everything from those so called first world country.

Who dares to speak ill of me?
