Woman convicted of maid abuse wants to make amends

Her family tortured their Indonesian domestic helper, Ms Badingah, five years ago.

They attacked her so badly that she jumped three floors from the flat to escape.

Ms Badingah had been beaten, and boiling water was poured over her genitals.

Her two front teeth were also pulled out with a pair of pliers.

Five years on, Miss Sarah Schmitzkova, 24, one of the people found guilty, said she does not blame people for thinking of her family as "monsters".

But they are moving on to be better people, she added.
